I get asked a lot of questions about starting a nonprofit. Chances are, if you’re reading this, you might be considering it.
Ask yourself these 2 very important questions -
Why is the cause important to you?
Is there a need in your immediate community?
If you can answer (and justify) those questions, you might be ready to get started.
Next, what are your responses to these questions -
If you’re offering a product for distribution, how will you obtain these items and where will you store them? Are they perishable?
If you wish to provide a service, like mentoring, where will you hold the sessions? In the current climate, can you host them remotely and will your target audience have access?
Now that you have answered those questions, let’s get to work!
